Gifted students strive to find text that is challenging and enriching to them. As an advanced reader, they need to develop skills in how to interpret and analyze the literature. The Navigator series provides students with interpretive and analytic skill that are craved by gifted learners. This series was developed by the Center for Gifted Education at the College of William & Mary to enhance a novel study by providing questions and activities that highlight theme, concepts, literary elements along with connections to the real world through the novel. Participants will learn how to effectively implement the Navigator series into their program.
