March 13, 2017

By: Kendall Hunt

As we inch closer to warm weather and sunshine, let’s shed some light on another one of our valued employees! Jerilyn Hilse is a Curriculum Sales Coordinator with Kendall Hunt Publishing. Starting her career path in Florida, she is now based out of North Carolina. Jerilyn contributes fantastic experience and knowledge to our team.

Working directly with the school districts, Gifted and Talented coordinators and teachers, both throughout the U.S. and internationally, Jerilyn is one busy woman. In this position, she shares the benefits of Kendall Hunt’s William & Mary, Project M2, and Project M3 curriculum as well as providing advice on how to assist students within the gifted program.

Jerilyn reveals, “I love meeting my customers! They are so thankful when I work with them to help their district meet their goals. I also love that Kendall Hunt is very family oriented. Everyone truly cares about one another.”

While she enjoys spending time with her Kendall Hunt family, she also loves spending time with Don, her husband of twenty-four years and her daughters Victoria and Alexandria. Jerilyn is also a self-proclaimed soccer mom who loves to cook, entertain, travel, play piano, and workout (she even ran a ½ marathon this past November). In her remaining sliver of free time, she is also very involved in Lee Park Church’s Worship Department and Women’s Ministry. Additionally, she volunteers for different activities at Turning Point, a domestic violence center. Here she re-decorates bedrooms, donates supplies, provides food, and much more.

Lastly, Jerilyn loves to use her love for singing to benefit others by singing in her church praise team and performing a Broadway benefit concert each year in Ft. Myers, Florida.  No matter if she’s singing, volunteering in the community, hanging out with her family or working with clients, her efforts continue to make positive impacts in other’s lives.
