Join Kendall Hunt and Illustrative Mathematics for a special virtual professional learning opportunity designed just for grades 6–8 teachers. Led by IM-Certified® trainers, this session is perfect for educators who want more opportunities for planning an activity synthesis or an introduction to the 5 Practices for Orchestrating Productive Mathematics Discussions
The purpose of this session is to use provided samples of student work to explore ways to plan and structure synthesizing discussions based on students sharing their ideas. Synthesis is a key part of a problem-based lesson.
