From Egg Drops to Tower Builds: Reimagine STEAM Activities for Gifted Learners
“Build the tallest tower” and “the egg drop” are classroom favorites for a reason—they’re low-prep, hands-on, and students love them. But is that enough for our gifted learners?
Join us for an interactive webinar where we will explore how to transform familiar STEM/STEAM design challenges into rich, multidisciplinary learning experiences grounded in real places, real people, and real events.
Together, we’ll rethink “one-and-done” activities and reimagine them as comprehensive lessons that foster depth, complexity, and authentic problem solving. Gifted instruction should take students on a journey, connecting STEM learning to current events, global issues, and the ever-present “But why?” questions our brightest minds ask.
