OVERVIEW
Statistics In Action is designed to help with three objectives:
• Students will learn the fundamental logic and tools of statistics
• Students will learn bout the actual practice of statistics in real-world situations
• Students will be prepared to pass the AP exam
The text is built around activities, discussion questions, practice problems, and exercises. A case study serves as an introduction and is built on throughout the book, eventually serving as a capstone project for the course. Through these activities and discussion questions, students will learn the important concepts in ways that foster understanding.
